Pondicherry 's own micro brewery serving around 6 different beers ranging from bitter to pale ale. Brewery is located on the third floor. Beer is good with a wide variety of bar snacks and food options. Interior is fairly done but city views. Reasonably priced and a place to check out.

We tried couple of beers, Jack Daniel No.7 & Bacardi Black Rum. On food, we tried White sauce pasta, Kizhiparotta, Nethili 65 & Chicken Polichi. Everything was nice Nethili 65 because the raw smell of fish was even there after frying it & it was also not crispy. Price was also okay

The first & only microbrewery in Pondichéry, the Belgian wheat beer is the best of the lot and the cherry beer is also great, food is allright, seating could have been much better designed, overall it’s a good place to chill in Pondy on the weekend.

Loved this place!!! Probably the only brewing place in Pondy. Valet parking available. Food was great. Pulled pork burger was worth the price. Phad Thai noodles. Chicken stake. Menu is diverse and yum. Beer even better! Tried the cherry flavoured + colored one. Damn good.

1. Do you serve beer on the bus?

We wish we could, but the government policy does not allow liquor to be served in open areas! Hold your horses till you reach Catamaran Pondy.

2. When is the tour?

24th June – Saturday.

3. What is the group size?

between 35 to 40 passengers.

4. Will you pick us up from our house?

We do not want a serpentine time consuming route, we plan single point pickup / drop off at Madhya Kailash. Other locations will be considered based on the group’s preference.

5. What time does the trip start & end?

The bus will start from Madhya Kailash at 10:30 hrs and back latest by 21:00 hrs.

6. Is it an air conditioned bus?

Yes. Air Conditioning is no more a luxury but a necessity.

7. How many beers can we drink during the visit?

Honestly, it depends from person to person. For 2 hours you may have as many as you feel like. Having said that, our beers are best savored, not binged! And we expect participants to drink responsibly as they are travelling in a group.

8. What does it cost ?

Rs.3000 per adult – beer fans

Rs.2500 per adult – teetotalers

Rs.1500 per child – kids meal

9. What does the cost include ?

Transport to Pondy and back, guided tour of the brewery, with beer tasting followed by 2 hour service of bottomless beer of your choice, and 90 minutes of sumptuous 3 course meal.

10. Does the tour run only on weekends?

To start with we plan to run the beer bus on Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the popularity we may decide to run mid week and on holidays as well. You also have an option to charter the bus with your exclusive college or offfice group.

11. Do we get time to do some sightseeing in Pondy?

After the brewery tour and lunch st Catamaran, we have arranged a walking tour of Pondy’s historic streets and monuments. It will take 60 to 90 mins to complete.

12. Can I bring my family and kids?

Catamaran is a family friendly joint, we have special mocktails, non-alcoholic beverages and finger food for kids and teatotllers.

13. What if I am knocked out.

As said earlier our beers are best savored, not binged. Drink responsibly, enjoy the event. In an unlikely event, you travel back on your own cost. Transport rules apply and don’t blame us buddy

14.Refund policy

1. 10% will be deducted if cancelled >10 days before the trip.

2. 30% will be deducted if cancelled between 10 to 3 days before the trip.

3. 100% retention if cancelled 48 hrs before the trip.

4. All refunds will take 7 working days to process.
